The books for the Young Adult Reading Group will be available starting today.  If you can't make it today, ask at the front desk next time you are in and we will have one waiting for you.

Come "Read on the Wild Side" - the Summer Reading Program for 2009!  Beginning June 6 and running for 6 weeks through July 18, come join the fun as we explore the "wild" side of reading!

For all teens who read at least 250 minutes, you are invited to the Teen Challenge Final Party on Friday, January 9th, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the Moline Public Library.  You can bring a friend, even if your friend did not participate in the Challenge!  Just turn in your log with the minutes you've spent reading, and get an entry ticket for the party.  There will be lots of cool things to do, like making a bag out of duct tape, scrapbook stamping, or playing DDR or Guitar Hero.  And did we mention food?  Yes, we'll have great snacks to eat and prize giveaways through

Last day for the Teen Reading Callenge.  Be sure to turn in your log by Tuesday, January 6th. 

Don't forget to sign up for our Teen Reading Challenge.  Participants will have their names put in a drawing for cool prizes for each level they attain.
