Your Library Card

Library cards are provided free of charge to all residents of our district, as part of your tax-supported library services. Your card gives you borrowing privileges here and at most public libraries in Illinois, access to special online resources, and more. Click here to learn how to get a library card.

Interlibrary Loan

If you need a book, DVD, or other item that we don't have, ask us to borrow it from another library for you.  Or you may reserve your own materials by going to the Catalog and placing a hold.

Reference Desk

Our friendly staff at the circulation desk will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

Computers

We have five public computer workstations with internet access available for up to two hours use per day.  If someone else is waiting for a computer, your time may be limited to 1/2 an hour.   Everyone who uses a library computer must follow our policy regarding computer and Internet use, and sign a user agreement form.

Photocopiers and Fax Machine

The fax machine is available for public use.  The fee is $1.00 for five pages if it is a local call.  If it is a long distance call, the fee is $2.00 for five pages.  Any extra pages are 5 cents per page.  The charge to receive a fax is 10 cents per page.  If you wish to photocopy, the charge is 10 cents per page.
